Hotel Information: Opened in 2006, the Orchard Garden is one of the country's first "green" hotels. Furnishings are made from sustainable materials, cleaning products are chemical-free, and energy-efficient lighting is used throughout. Respect for the environment combines with style, comfort, and a prime downtown San Francisco location. Butterscotch and bamboo tones, a waterfall, and custom-made bronze dividers patterned with leaves create a soothing ambience in the small lobby.

Guestrooms feature ultra-comfortable Simmons Beautyrest "Health Smart" mattresses with removable, washable pillowtops; Egyptian cotton linens; down duvets; and a selection of down and foam pillows (hypoallergenic bedding upon request). High-definition LCD TVs include DVD players and pay movies. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary. iHome clock radios come with iPod docking stations.
