Rooms
Rancho Valencia's 49 guestrooms are located in 25 one-story casitas separated by citrus and palm trees, bougainvillea, honeysuckle, and other native plants. Accessed via exterior corridors, accommodations have private, furnished garden patios. Decor includes open-beamed cathedral ceilings, sunken living areas with gas fireplaces, and hand-painted Mexican tiles.
Spacious bathrooms include separate showers and tubs (some with jetted tubs and steam showers), TVs, telephones, custom-made toiletries, and makeup/shaving mirrors. An on-site pro shop can re-string rackets, find partners for solo players, and arrange clinics or private lessons for all skill levels (surcharges). Guests enjoy an outdoor lap pool with two adjacent spa tubs. A 10,000-square-foot regulation croquet lawn is on site, with complimentary equipment provided. The resort also offers complimentary use of bicycles, bocce ball, and board games.
