Hotel Information: Resembling a grand hacienda, the lobby of this seven-story Spanish Colonial hotel offers graceful archways, fresh flowers, and a winding, wrought-iron staircase. The hotel features beamed and molded ceilings, French doors, distinctive artifacts and tapestries, and brick-paved courtyard lush with trees and tropical greenery.
Insider tip: Guests can pose for pictures on the quaint stone footbridge connecting Omni La Mansion to its sister hotel. It's a prime spot to take in the surrounding flora and fauna and passing riverboats.
Rooms
This seven-story hotel has 338 guestrooms with views of the river, the courtyard, or the city.
Renovated in September 2007, all guestrooms have new carpeting, draperies, wall finishes, and signature pillowtop bedding. Credenzas are topped with 32-inch plasma televisions. Guestroom balconies feature new sound-insulated doors with double-paned glass for noise reduction.
Each room is individually appointed, but all have exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings, antique-style furnishings and fabrics, custom cotton bedding, cotton bathrobes, large reading chairs, and glass-topped desks. The marble baths offer large gilded mirrors, gooseneck faucets, plush bath linens, and Omni La Mansion's line of designer bath products. High-speed Internet access is available in all rooms (surcharge). In-room spa services are available for a surcharge.

Property Amenities
Omni La Mansión del Rio, located on San Antonio's River Walk, completed its multi-million dollar guestroom and lobby refurbishment in September 2007. New features include a hand-carved concierge desk and cabinets; an updated reception desk; granite, limestone, iron, and bronze furnishings; and iron ceiling fixtures. A mixture of paintings, photography, and Mexican folk art are displayed throughout the property.
A brick-paved courtyard and an outdoor heated pool with attendant service are on site. Las Canarias, a romantic and casual restaurant, offers Southwest cuisine. El Colegio, an intimate piano bar, takes guests' requests for favorite songs.
Guests can take advantage of the business center and wireless Internet access throughout the hotel's public areas (surcharge for both). Guests have complimentary access to the 17,000-square-foot spa at the Watermark, a sister hotel, located across the footbridge. Las Canarias - This restaurant is known for its attentive touches, such as freshly brewed iced tea served with a sprig of mint and a tiny vase of chilled syrup. The romantic, casual setting includes three levels of interior seating. Guests are also served on the courtyard or veranda overlooking the Riverwalk. The menu features American regional fare, including seafood, steaks, and game meats. Open daily, the restaurant also hosts a Sunday champagne brunch.
El Colegio - Once the library of the old St. Mary's College, this intimate piano bar has a fireplace and serves a wide selection of wines, beer, and Tex-Mex appetizers. It opens daily at 5:30 PM.
