Driving directions from Rotorua Airport (ROT) : Take the Southern Motorway (SH1) towards Hamilton. When you reach Tirau take the Geothermal Highway (SH5). Follow signs for the city centre. As you enter the CBD, Hot Rock Backpackers is located on the corner of Arawa St and Ranolf St, opposite Kuirau Geothermal Park.
