Guestrooms at The Summit at Grand Sierra Resort are nonsmoking and feature 42-inch flat-screen TVs with cable and pay movies. Bathrooms are marble-walled and have showers and 13-inch flat-screen TVs. A full-service health spa (surcharge) offers massages, body treatments, and facials. Treadmills, elliptical machines, stairsteppers, stationary bikes, and free weights are also provided.
The hotel offers a 50-lane championship bowling alley and a 40,000-square-foot children's adventure center with laser tag. Also on site are a paint-your-own-pottery studio, an aquatic golf driving range staffed with professional instructors, an indoor golf simulator, a climbing wall, and a mini-golf/go kart/thrill ride attraction.
Walkers, runners, bikers, and in-line skaters can use the Truckee River Recreation Trail that travels past the hotel along Reno's resident waterway, while adrenaline junkies head for the Ultimate Rush Speed and Thrill Park.

Located two miles from downtown Reno and three miles from the Reno-Tahoe airport, The Summit at Grand Sierra Resort shares its footprint with its partner hotel, Grand Sierra Resort & Casino. Guests enjoy access to a sprawling 200,000 square-foot meeting and convention center, an 80,000-square-foot casino, a movie theater, a 50-lane bowling alley, and a 40,000-square-foot arcade. Nine restaurants, and on-site bars, offer a range of cuisine. The lobby, casino, and the top 10 floors of the hotel were completely renovated in late 2007.
The spa and health club offers fitness equipment, saunas, and steam rooms. Massage, body treatments, and facials are also available.

Charlie Palmer Steak - Chef Charlie Palmer serves fine cuts of meat and an eclectic wine selection spotlighting west coast vintages such as Rochioli Single Vineyard Pinot Noirs. Seats more than 200 guests.
Fin Fish - Inventive seafood from Chef Charlie Palmer. Features a raw bar, fresh seafood, and shellfish. Sea-foam blue, sand, and sage hues create a beachside ambience.
Crystal Lounge - In the center of the casino's restaurant row. Menu includes wine, liquor, a variety of beers, and appetizers. Featuring entertainment from Chris Costa, the man of 1,000 voices.
Johnny Rockets - The lively wait staff at Johnny Rockets are known for belting out a few songs while dishing up cheeseburgers, chili fries, melts, and malteds. Designed to resemble a vintage 1950s counter-top diner, this open-aired hamburger haven is located next to the SuperBook, where sports fans can place their bets and follow the action.
Mustang Bar - A country music venue, featuring live acts and celebrity deejays.
Round Table Pizza - Thin- and thick-crust pizzas and other Italian favorites are offered at this family-friendly chain located on the Arcade Level next to Fun Quest.
The Lodge Buffet - In addition to shrimp, crab, and prime rib, 20 other entrées and side dishes are served nightly at The Lodge Buffet. This restaurant was recently renovated in a vintage Tahoe style, with heavy wood beams overhead, river-rock walls, and carved wooden bears. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a weekend brunch available on Saturday and Sunday.
Café Sierra - Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24 hours a day. Menu features patty melts, chicken-fried steak, and other American classics.
2nd Street Express - Offering hot and cold sandwiches, salads, coffees, teas and pastries. To go or eat in.
Port of Subs - Sandwiches prepared to order. Offers breakfast sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads, deli trays, and desserts.
