Hotel Information: The Silver Legacy is a 1,720 room Victorian-themed hotel. The exterior facade of storefronts re-creates views of Reno in the 1890s and early 1900s. It also houses a comedy club, five restaurants, and the world's largest composite dome (featuring a 120-foot high automated mining rig, and laser/light shows). Located in downtown Reno, three miles from the Reno-Tahoe airport, Silver Legacy Resort Casino is connected by skywalk to the Circus Circus and Eldorado casinos.

An hourly laser show on the ceiling of the composite dome above the 120-foot-high full-scale mining rig highlights Nevada’s Comstock era and the life of fictitious silver baron Sam Fairchild. The casino houses 2,500 slot machines, 80 gaming tables, two keno lounges, and a betting shop.

For a surcharge, guests can access the Silver Legacy’s health spa, which features a Swedish sauna, spa, steam room, massage, whirlpool, locker rooms, pool, cardiovascular and weight equipment, and a sundeck.

The on-site concierge desk, located in the hotel lobby, is staffed daily (7 AM to 8 PM Sunday–Thursday, and 7 AM to 9 PM Friday–Saturday; schedule subject to change). Concierge services include assistance with show tickets, dinner reservations, city tours, and ski-lift tickets.

Bijoux Terner, also located on the mezzanine level, specializes in watches, fashion jewelry, handbags, and accessories. Every item in the store is $10. Tradewinds Sportswear, located next door, features men’s clothing, including Tommy Bahama and Lacoste. Kiosks, scattered throughout the mezzanine level under the dome, sell stuffed animals, children's t-shirts, toys and a large selection of Silver Legacy glass items.

Boutique, located in the hotel lobby, carries ladies' ready-to-wear fashions and accessories, such as sweaters by Michael Simon, collections by Molto Fino, Guess, and Litico Leather. Reflections, also in the hotel lobby, features a collection of home décor, including candles and candle holders, lamps, vases and picture frames. Ami Jewelers features fine jewelry, including designer timepieces, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and rings. Repair services are also available, and a full-time licensed jeweler is on staff.

Entertainment

Located on the resort's main casino floor, Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club offers year-round performances by up-and-coming talent as well as renowned headline comics, such as Jay Leno and Bill Cosby. The 200-seat comedy club showcases a different pair of stand-up comics each night, Tuesday through Sunday (dark Mondays). Guests must be at least 21 years of age. Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse - Sterling’s serves steak, veal, poultry, and seafood cooked on a mesquite grill. This fine-dining setting is dressed with white linen tablecloths and dark-wood paneling. Open for dinner, and an elaborate Sunday brunch. Reservations recommended.

Fairchild’s Oyster Bar - This casual bistro features fresh seafood, including cioppino, crab cakes, and coconut tempura prawns.

Café Sedona - Café Sedona's extensive menu serves huevos rancheros to steak and lobster. Asian cuisine is served late night. This open-air casual dining spot is open 24 hours everyday.

Flavors! the Buffet - Buffet restaurant that features Chinese and Italian dishes, as well as a meat carving station and freshly baked desserts. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Fresh Express Food Court - This casino-floor food court offers an array of choices from Chinese noodles to New York style deli sandwiches and pizza, with patio-style seating under a leafy arbor.

Comedy Club Bar - Located just outside the nationally known Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club, this bar is the perfect place to order a drink before the show.

Drinx - Located on the mezzanine level, this contemporary lounge is decorated with monochromatic colors, and dimly-lit chandeliers. Features an array of specialty martinis.
