Hotel Information: Opened as a hotel in 2003 after restoration/expansion of an 1890 Neo-Renaissance building that first served as a bank and then a post office, the hotel contains a lobby, which was part of the original building, and includes a three-toned marble floor, crystal light fixtures, jewel-tone silk seating, palm trees, and a two-story ceiling with elaborate gilded moldings.

Amenity highlights: A health club contains an 18-by-9-meter (59-by-30-foot) indoor swimming pool tiled in jewel tones and containing two 10-person, semicircular jetted sections, two jetted lounging sections, and two waterfall torrents for massaging back and neck. A plunge pool lies between sauna and steam room. Also included are massage rooms, women's and men's locker rooms, and a small fitness room containing a Universal gym, cardio machines, and free weights.
