Rooms

The Royal Phuket City Hotel comprises 251 guestrooms decorated in tones of beige and brown with wall-to-wall carpets. All guestrooms come with marbled bathrooms, satellite TV programs with Starmovies, Discovery, and ESPN. Recreation

Guests have complimentary access to the Club Asia Fitness, a public health club. With views of the street, the 269-square-meter (2,900-square-foot) health club has over 40 workout stations including cardio equipment such as treadmills, recumbent exercise bikes, stair machines, and elliptical trainers. Weight trainers include resistance machines, free weights, and dumbbells. The 141-square-meter (1,500-square-foot) aerobic studio can accommodate 25 guests. Trainers are available to assist guests with workouts. A 10-treatment room spa, swimming pool with views of the city’s skyline, his and hers sauna and steam rooms, and a juice bar are also available.

Golf enthusiasts can tee off at the Phuket Golf Club 5km (3 miles) away, or the championship Canyon and Lake courses at the Blue Canyon Country Club, 45km (28 miles) away. Water sports and activities such as jet skis, banana-boat rides, parasailing, and windsurfing can be found on the beaches of Patong, 20km (12 miles) or Karon, 25 km (15 miles) away.

Phuket International Airport (HKT): Approximate travel time is 45 minutes and distance is 45 km (28 miles).

Getting there: Transportation booths are available after the baggage claim area. The hotel can arrange for car or mini van transfers. Charges are fixed, and based on a per car/way basis. The driver will meet guests after the baggage claim area. Airport buses are available, however the time and distance varies according to the location and number of passengers to drop off. The Red Onion - Located on the 19th floor with panoramic views of the city and ocean beyond. Indoor air-conditioned or terrace seating. International buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner à la carte.

White Palm Restaurant - Chinese restaurant located on the first floor. Serves dim sum lunch, and à la carte menu for dinner.

154 - Delicatessen café for dine-in or take-out. Homemade deli favorites include sandwiches, pastries, cakes, muffins, and desserts. Selection of ice-blended coffees. Three workstations with high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Atrium Lounge - Hot and cold beverages, as well as cocktails are served around a four-story atrium. Bar counter and armchair seats. Live music in the evenings.

Lava Club - Nightclub with live entertainment, dancing, and cocktails from evening to late.
