Mangosteen Magic (4 hours): THB6,500 (US$175–$185)
Beginning with a body scrub the skin is then treated with Papaya honey wrap, to moisturize. This is followed by an anti-stress massage and choice of facial. The session ends with a flower spa bath.

Sandalwood Salt Scrub (40 minutes): THB1,250 (US$35–$45)
An invigorating scrub using Aromatherapy salt, Sandalwood essential oil, and a softening body lotion. Refines surface skins, exfoliates dead cells, nourishes, stimulates circulation, and improves skin color.

Mangosteen Deluxe (90 minutes): THB1,990 (US$55–$65)
This treatment starts with the ancient Thai technique of massaging the back with a hot herbal compress, and finishes with a full body massage for total relaxation and skin nourishment.

Mangosteen Body Detoxification (60 minutes): THB1,940 (US$45−$55)
Naturally occurring fruit acids from within the Mangosteen fruit is used to remove dead skin cells, kill bacteria, and draw out toxins. Unique in its preparation and application, Mangosteen is smoothed over the body and enveloped with warm heating blankets to encourage the fruitÂ’s cleansing properties.

Mangosteen Facial (60 minutes): THB1,980 (US$55–$65)
The natural ingredients in this facial include yogurt, brown sugar, honey, egg whites, and the juice of a cucumber, to produce a refreshing traditional cleanser.

Bubble and Oil Delight (30 minutes): THB2,080 (US$55−$65)
The addition of fresh herbs, aromatic oils, and bubbles to the spa tub not only helps nurture the skin and organs within, but also assists in creating a sense of indulgence.

Ao Chalong Dream (3 hours): THB5,000 (US$135–$145)
A mud wrap to moisturizes and tones the skin, preparing it for an energy massage to enhance the feeling of total well being; as blood circulation improves stress is relieved. The session finishes with a facial of the guestÂ’s choice.

Rooms

The Mangosteen Resort and Spa offers 40 villa style rooms, with each separate building housing two villas. All are accessed from outside the main reception area, and are surrounded by landscaped gardens. Each villa has a furnished balcony extending the living space, and there are separate sitting areas inside. In-room entertainment includes cable/satellite TV with a selection of 15 channels. All villas have indoor rain showers with handheld shower facilities. Complimentary toiletries are from the resort’s Mangosteen collection. Complimentary to each villa are newspapers, daily bottled water, and welcome amenities including fresh fruit, such as mangosteens.

Recreation

Weaving around the Mangosteen Resort and Spa is a 680 square meter (7,320 square feet) salt water free-form swimming pool, with an infinity edge. Fourteen waterfalls and a swimming channel are incorporated into the pool design, along with a spa tub, children’s pool, and fountains. Guests have complimentary access to the resort’s fitness center, which is located next to the spa complex. Cardio and weight equipment is provided.

The resort provides a beach bus to transfer guests to nearby Nai Harn Beach, which is within 5 km (3 miles) of the resort. Phuket Riding Club offers horse riding suitable to all ages and is within 5 km (3 miles) of the resort. Phuket Country Club and Loch Palm Golf Club are less than 25 km (15.5 miles) from the Resort and are open to non-members. Arrangements can be made through reception for transport to the golf courses. Mini golf at Dino Park in Patong is within 15 km (9 miles), and incorporates other activities including a bungee jump. Guests can be assisted with scuba diving at locations around Phuket, including Coral Island, which is approximately 10 km (6 miles) from Mangosteen Resort. Snorkeling is also available at various local beach areas within 10 km (6 miles) of the resort. Elephant treks are available within 15 km (9 miles) and can be arranged through reception.

Instructions: Taxi stands are located outside baggage claim at terminals one and two. Guests should ask the taxi driver to follow the road from the airport to Chalong Circle, past the post office, on the way to the Seashell Museum on the right.

The Mangosteen Phuket Restaurant & Wine Cellar - Mediterranean style cuisine with Thai herbs and spices. Emphasis on Thai flavors and local seafood. Dishes may be prepared to suit guest tastes. The open-air sala (pavilion) dining offers resort and ocean views. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an all-day style menu. On Thursdays, a Latin buffet dinner menu is served, and on Sundays, a late breakfast (brunch) menu is buffet style. Cellar provides guests with selection of red and white wines. Cellar may be booked for private dining functions with limited seating.

Mangosteen Lounge Bar - Serves a range of beverages and light snacks. Live music and light entertainment. Open every evening till late.
