Banyan Tree Spa has 25 treatment rooms, of which 20 are double rooms (suited to couples), and five are single rooms. The 25 treatment rooms offer eight air-conditioned spa pavilions, and 12 open-air spa pavilions.
Banyan Tree SpaÂ’s massage therapies represent European and Asian massage techniques and use aromatic oils as part of treatments. Signature treatments include traditional and unique massage, skin scrubs, and skin and hair moisturizing therapies. Special package treatments of two or more therapies are available.
Royal Banyan (3 hours): THB7,800 (US$210+)
This signature therapy draws on centuries-old massage traditions used in the Royal Thai Palaces and begins with an oil-free Thai acupressure massage to improve blood circulation and alleviate muscle tension. Banyan herbal pouches filled with lemongrass, cloves, and coriander, are then used to apply warm sesame oil to the body while it receives a Banyan massage, a Western-influenced technique. The treatment also includes a foot bath and refreshments.

Island Dew (1 hour): THB2,900 (US$75−$85)
A gentle massage for sensitive skin, using Soothing Oil for its healing and calming properties. Uses thumb pressure and long palm strokes, for tension release and to aid absorption of the oil for skin repair. Enhanced results come from leaving the oil on the skin.

Revival Banyan Back Reviver (1 hour 30 minutes): THB2,950 (US$80+) single; THB5,600 (US$150+ ) couple
Designed to relieve back muscle tensions, the treatment begins with a mild scrub followed by a deep massage using a menthol-based lotion to stimulate tired and sore muscles. The back is then nourished with warm paraffin enriched with Vitamin E, for tension relief and optimal moisture absorption. The treatment also includes a foot bath and refreshments.

Renewal (2 hours): THB4,500 (US$120+) single; THB7,890 (US$220+) couple
A body-conditioning therapy for renewal of face and body. This treatment combines a facial and a full body conditioner including a foot bath, and refreshments with relaxation time. There is a menu for facials and body conditioners, including a honey facial, and fruit conditioner.

Tropical Rain Mist (2 hours): THB4,560 (US$125) single; THB 7,890 (US$215+) couple
This unique Banyan body treatment combines a steam and rain shower. Using a hot stone massage and comforting rain shower, this therapeutic session eases tensions. Included is a salt scrub to exfoliate dead skin cells, leaving skin silky smooth. Natural sea salt and essential oils are combined to provide a stimulating body rub. The salt gently polishes and heals the skin which is softened and nourished by the oils.

Banyan Hand Basics (1 hour): THB1,300 (US$35−$45)
Nails are cleaned, trimmed, and shaped while the hands are scrubbed and conditioned. A relaxing hand massage completes the treatment. Includes hand soak and scrub, nail maintenance, Kaffir lime hand mask, and hand massage.

A creamy blend of honey and banana, applied as a body mask. For refining skin and providing deep moisture and nourishment.

Traditional body soap of Indonesia, crushed Kemiri nuts, combined with coconut milk and rice treatment that exfoliates, cleanses, and deeply moisturizes the skin. Suitable for dry or mature skin.

The outdoor swimming pool and accompanying childrenÂ’s pool are available, as are three tennis courts. Tai-chi, Thai boxing, and a fitness center with cardio and weight equipment provide recreational alternatives to the water sports available for guests, including lessons in scuba diving, sailing, canoeing, and windsurfing.
Directly next to the resort is the 18-hole Laguna Phuket Golf Club, available for all nonmember guests (surcharges). Offering a full length driving range, putting greens, practice bunkers, and chipping areas, guests may play golf or practice, with the assistance of professional golf instruction. Other off-site activities can be arranged through the resort and include water sports, snorkeling, scuba diving, and sailing, all within 15 km (9 miles).
The QUEST activity club located within the Laguna Phuket complex provides a range of activities that are specifically designed for team participation, and are suited to all guests, including children aged 9−14. The QUEST Club is available to guests of Banyan Tree and other resorts within the Laguna Phuket complex, at a surcharge.

Saffron - The signature restaurant of Banyan Tree Phuket is set in a Thai-style décor, with dark timbers and highlights in reds and greens. The menu selection of Thai cuisine is prepared using traditional methods. Dishes include crisp fried catfish and mango salad; stir-fried black crab with pepper and chili; and sticky rice with yellow curry ice cream. Serving dinner only till late, the dress code is smart casual.
Watercourt - Overlooking a formal water pond, and offering views of the lagoon, the restaurant serves American and Asian buffet breakfast, while evening dining focuses on Mediterranean cuisine. Menu items include citrus salad with warm garlic prawns; charred aubergine cappuccino with truffle oil; and grilled prime rib of beef. Open from early morning for breakfast and for dinner till late, the restaurant requires smart casual dress.
Banyan Café - With timber furnishings for casual alfresco dining, and overlooking the Laguna Phuket Golf Club, the café serves international menu items and snacks, breakfast, and lunch. Thai dishes, sandwiches, and salads are available from early morning till mid-evening.
Tamarind Restaurant - Set in the Banyan Tree Spa environs, dining at Tamarind offers fresh fish, seafood, and spa cuisine. Combining the herbs, roots, and spices that are the distinctive flavors of Thai cuisine, the restaurant also serves Western and Far Eastern dishes. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant setting is informal, providing alfresco seating beside the lagoon. Catering to adults only, with dress codes being for smart casual.
Sala Terrace - Overlooking the lagoon from a private terrace, the alfresco setting is informal, with timber decking and furnishings. Focusing the cuisine upon lobster, tiger prawn, and imported French oysters, the restaurant also serves Beluga Caviar, and flavors of Thai fusion cooking that are hot, sweet, tangy, and tart. Wine can be selected from the cellar. Serving dinner only with weather permitting, the restaurant requires smart casual dress.
Pool Bar - Guests can swim up to the bar for drinks and fruit cocktails, or snacks. The bar is opened from mid-morning till evening.
The Lobby Bar Terrace - Serving coffee, cognac, and cigars from early afternoon till very late.
Wine Rack - An air-conditioned private function area for exclusive parties for up to 12 guests, serving drinks and light snacks.
Sanya Rak Dinner Cruise - Banyan Tree's traditional long tail boat, Sanya Rak, departs from Banyan Tree for a dinner cruise of approximately two-and-a -half hours. Against a background of traditional music and cuisine, guests cruise through the lagoons. Reservations are required.
