Hotel Information: The Meridian Condo Resorts offers rentals to vacationing families, golf groups, or business travelers. The units and amenities are similar throughout several complexes, decorated in southwestern colors.
Amenity highlights: The condos have heated outdoor lap and freeform waterfall pools, spa tubs, saunas, large fitness room, lighted tennis courts, a barbecue area, and beach volleyball courts. The clubhouse has pinball, a pool table, a fireplace, and a large-screen TV. Parking is complimentary. Restaurants and shopping are nearby and the staff can arrange golf times.
Insider tip: Nine professional baseball teams come to the Phoenix area for spring training. Tickets (except for the Cubs) aren’t hard to come by, and fans can watch and sometimes talk to players and get autographs. Spring training usually runs through March with several games daily in the afternoon and evening.
Special Check-in Instructions
The check-in office and concierge desk for this resort are not located on site, but a short distance away in The Village at Hayden, 8390 East Via De Ventura, Suite F-208. The office is on the second floor above and to the right of Mail & Parcel and between the restaurants Zipps and Le Peep.
Rooms
This Scottsdale hotel offers 100 large one-, two-, and three-bedroom condos in several upscale condominium developments, all constructed by the same builder with the same amenities and within walking distance of each other and the rental office.
All Meridian condos were renovated in November 2008 and are decorated in a southwestern style with contemporary furnishings and details by local artisans. Each offer private, furnished patios or balconies with courtyard, mountain, or golf-course views. Units feature kitchens with refrigerators, four-burner stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, toasters, coffeemakers, cookware, and dishware. Kitchens can be stocked with groceries in advance of arrival for a surcharge.
Other amenities include flat-screen HDTVs with premium cable channels and VCRs, and full-sized washers and dryers. Bedding features custom-made mattresses, and all units offer sofas or love seats. Local calls are complimentary and the rooms have complimentary dial-up Internet access. All rooms are nonsmoking. Most units have fireplaces.
