Hotel Information: Upon entering the large open-plan lobby, guests can recline on brown leather sofas set amidst leafy plants and rectangular pillars. Since it opened in 1994, the Avanti Hotel has been welcoming families, couples and groups, as well as business people who congregate in its five meeting rooms.

Flat green and crown green bowlers have six full-size floodlit bowling greens at their disposal, and the hotel organises games with local clubs. Insider tip: Bird lovers should make a beeline for Paphos Forest. Located approximately 30 kilometres from the resort, this conservation area is home to Imperial Eagles, Bonelli’s Eagles (both endangered species), and Cyprus Warblers. During the breeding season Masked Shrikes and a host of other birds can also be spotted.

The Avanti Hotel has 243 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over three floors. Decor is light and modern, with white walls and blue upholstery. Wooden furnishings include bedside tables, desks with chairs, round coffee tables, two armchairs and wall-mounted headboards. Mediterranean blue bedspreads and striped curtains add a splash of colour. Impressionist prints hang over the beds. Sliding glass doors allow light to flood in and lead to balconies furnished with plastic tables and chairs. |
