Spa

Amrita Spa is located on the 11th floor of the Swissotel Nankai Osaka, and offers a day spa, a health club with exercise room, and an indoor swimming pool. The spa is composed of four treatment rooms for individuals, one couple’s room, and male and female change rooms.

Aromatherapy Treatment - Deep Breath (2 hours max.): JPY 15,000−JPY 20,000
A full body treatment. Application of specially blended essential oils and long stroking movements for a relaxing massage. Half body treatments are available.

Aroma Hot Stone Therapy (Gift from Earth) (1 hour, 30 minutes): JPY 19,000
Full body treatment excluding the facial area. This treatment is recommended for those with poor blood circulation. Warmed stones are placed on strategic meridian points to ease stress and improve blood flow. Uses essential oils.

Leha Leha Oriental Treatment (1 hour, 20 minutes): JPY 17,000
Relaxes tense muscles with a rhythmical massage using an ancient fragrant oil treatment. Helps heal the mind, body, and soul from the stresses of everyday life.

Japanese Essence Aromatherapy - Japanese Spirit (1 hour, 10 minutes): JPY 15,000
Full body treatment excluding the facial and abdomen area. A fusion of ancient Japanese and modern western massage techniques.

Thalassotherapy Treatment - Mineral and Slimming (1 hour, 30 minutes):JPY 22,000
Purify and nourish skin from deep within, while eliminating waste matter, with a seaweed body wrap containing rich vitamins and minerals. This treatment helps to stimulate perspiration and increase metabolism, while making skin soft and smooth. Inclusive of body scrub.

Deep Cleansing Facial and Back Treatment (1 hour, 30 minutes): JPY 18,000
This compressed treatment exfoliates to remove the rough surface layer of skin to make it smoother and softer.

This treatment is a combination of a facial and Thalassotherapy, using a seaweed body wrap containing rich vitamins and minerals. This treatment helps to stimulate perspiration and increase metabolism. Inclusive of body scrub.

Swissotel Nankai offers 548 guestrooms in a 30-story property. Guestrooms feature satellite television with pay movies. The Swissotel Nankai Osaka offers a health club with exercise room and a range of cardio and weight equipment. Yoga classes are available on request. The swimming pool located next to the Amrita Spa is enclosed within a glass atrium, providing views of the city.

Note The Amrita Spa & Fitness facilities will be closed from 22 June to 25 June due to maintenance. The swimming pool area, including the Jacuzzi will remain closed till 30 June.

Know Before You Go

The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc.). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.

Dining

Café Swiss - A variety of local and international cuisines are offered along with a daily buffet, in the 6th floor informal café. Open from early morning ‘til late and seating 136 people, the café serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Tavola 36 - Located on level 36, the restaurant offers views of Osaka and Kobe, in a contemporary setting. Modern Italian cuisine is served, including fresh baked pizza, and the bar provides a selection of cocktails and wines. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant seats up to 187 guests.

La Tour - The 10th floor formal dining restaurant serves Provençal and southern French cuisine, with modern Mediterranean and traditional influences, in a setting of high ceilings and dark timber décor. The restaurant can seat up to 68 guests.

Empress Room - Serving northern Beijing cuisine, the semi-formal restaurant offers à la carte dishes, along with set lunch and dinner menu. Located on the 10th floor, the restaurant seats up to 112 guests, and has private rooms available for dinner parties.

Hana-Goyomi - Kaiseki cuisine is served in the main dining area, with a menu including miso soup and rice dishes. Also offers sushi and tempura counters, and private rooms. Dining is for lunch and dinner, and a selection of wines and sake are available.

Minami - Connected to the Hana-Goyomi on the 10th floor, teppanyaki-style dedicated grill stations serve freshly prepared and cooked-to-order menu selections. Open from late morning ‘til evening, the restaurant serves lunch and dinner with seating for up to 35 guests.

Seven Seas Bar - Sixth floor piano bar open from late afternoon until very late, where alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, and light snacks are served.

Lobby Lounge - Located on the 6th floor lobby level, the lounge offers light entertainment, with drinks and snacks, from late morning ‘til very late.
