Hotel Information: Floor-to-ceiling windows and a gray-stone geometrical fountain dominate the street-level lobby, from which guests take an escalator to reception on the second level. Here, airline staff, business guests, and weekend visitors mingle in the wood-paneled area complemented by a wall of back-lit orange glass. Soft music, deep chairs, and marble floors make the busy train station beneath the hotel seem worlds away.
Amenity highlights: From the top-floor restaurant with panoramic city views to the basement-level avenue lined with smaller restaurants, the hotel features a wide range of dining options. A high-end clothing boutique can help with shopping needs unfulfilled by the adjacent department store, and the sundries/gift store has everything from pain killers to kimonos for last-minute essentials and gifts. Two reception-area laptops offer high-speed Internet access (surcharge).
Insider tip: Tucked away in a small landscaped area at the back of the hotel sits a traditional Japanese teahouse. While not available for regular use, it can be opened upon request for guests to take a peek inside.

Subway maps can also be obtained at the stations, hotel, and most city tourist offices.
