Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter offers 1,008 guestrooms in seven low-rise buildings. Buildings are bordered by gardens and cobblestone streets, and some offer views of the resort pool or the Sassagoula River.
Rooms inspired by Mardi Gras celebrations—or Carnivàle, as the holiday is known in other countries—offer rich, blue color schemes, French-inspired paintings, and antique-style furnishings.
All rooms have tables and chairs, in-room safes, and cable TV with Disney channels.
Coffeemakers are provided. Bathrooms with shower/tub combinations provide hair dryers and dual vanity areas.

Resort guests also enjoy privileges at a companion property, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, a Louisiana-style resort inspired by Mark Twain and the days of riverboats. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside has quiet pools, stocked fishing holes (catch and release), and an old-fashioned swimming hole with water slides and fountains. Complimentary ferryboats up the Sassagoula River transport guests to the Downtown Disney® Area.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and 36-hole Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course are both within two miles of the resort via complimentary transportation. The resort’s guest services can assist with reservations at any one of Disney’s five tour-caliber golf courses, all located on Walt Disney World® Resort property. A nine-hole walking course is also available.

Disney's Magical Express: Guests of this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express service. Motor coaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. Disney staff members pick up bags and deliver them straight to guestrooms (for arrivals between 5 AM and 10 PM). Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim to carry with them on the motor coach.

Know Before You Go
Resort Airline Check-In Service allows guests to check luggage and receive airline boarding passes at resort hotels. This service now accepts one bag per passenger for guests who fly AirTran, Alaska Airlines, Delta, and JetBlue. Guests with multiple bags must call Baggage Airline Guest Services (407-284-1231, 7 AM - 11 PM daily) to pay excess luggage fees before checking in. Otherwise, additional bags must be checked at the airport.
Guests flying on United Airlines who utilize Resort Airline Check-In Service are currently exempt from the airline's excess luggage fees.
Guests flying on American Airlines, Continental, Northwest Airlines, and US Airways who wish to check any bags must call Baggage Airline Guest Services to pay their airline baggage fees before checking in at the Resort Airline Check-In desk. Otherwise, guests must check in at the airport.
For all airlines, guests should ensure that their luggage is 50 pounds or less in order to use Resort Airline Check-In Service and that it complies with their airline's baggage policy. Resort Airline Check-In desks cannot accept overweight or oversized luggage. Excess luggage fees vary by airline.
Dining
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory - Huge icons reminiscent of Mardi Gras parades—including ice-cream cones, jester masks, and oversize beads—hang high above diners in this casual food court with a warehouse motif. Menu items include a choice of Creole or American dishes, and dining is self-serve in style. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day.
Sassagoula Pizza Express - Pizza is available for room service during evening hours. Scat Cat’s Club - Located off the lobby, this jazz-themed club features cocktails, soft drinks, and specialty drinks.
