Recreation

Guests receive a local visitor’s card which allows use of the ski bus, connecting the three ski areas. There is a total of 46 kilometers of piste, 13 kilometers suitable for beginner skiers, 29 kilometers for intermediate skiers and four kilometers for advanced skiers. In Niederau, the Markbachjoch and the Lanerköpfl offer 24 kilometers of runs with two kilometers for advanced, 12 kilometers for intermediates and 10 kilometers for beginners. In Auffach, the Schatzberg (incl.Thierbach) offers a total of 22 kilometers of piste, of which two kilometers are for advanced skiers, 17 kilometers for intermediates and three kilometers for beginners. Oberau has one small drag lift for beginners and in there there are two gondola or cabin ski lifts, two chairlifts and 22 draglifts.
