Hotel Information: Built in 1924, the Marriott East Side was originally known as the Shelton Towers. Artist Georgia O’Keeffe used it as a subject for a painting, Houdini performed a daring escape from a locked box in the pool, and a certain James Stare set the world record for continuous dancing on its roof.
