Hotel Information: The distinctive style of the Italian Renaissance was the inspiration for Marco Beach Ocean Resort, located on a white-sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Guests, mostly vacationers, are welcomed in an all-marble lobby with huge pillars, arched hallways, sparkling chandeliers, antique furnishings, and hand-painted murals. A gift shop is located just off the lobby.
Amenity highlights: Beachfront activities include swimming, Jet Ski rides, and parasailing. Massage, body therapies, and facials are offered in the spa. The fitness center features exercise bikes and cardio machines, plus a sauna and steam room. An outdoor pool, spa tub, and sundeck are located on the resort's sunroof. Guests dine in the gourmet Italian restaurant or enjoy a drink in the Toulouse Lounge.
Insider tip: From May through October, sea turtles, dolphins, and manatees are frequently visible in the local waters on Marco Island. Sea turtles lay their eggs at the top of the beach.
Rooms
The Marco Beach Ocean Resort offers 98 suites in a 12-story building, all with step-out, furnished balconies or private terraces. Located on floors 5–12, all suites have floor-to-ceiling glass doors and full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stove/ovens, dishware, and cookware.
Accommodations also feature premium bedding, including 310-thread-count linens, and separate sitting areas with couches, armchairs, tables, and desks. Amenities include TVs with premium cable channels and video games (surcharge). High-speed Internet access is available in all suites, and DVDs and VCRs are available on request (surcharge for all). All rooms have marble showers; most also have a tub.
On request, a special turndown service for children is available, which includes a small toy turtle accompanied by a storybook reading.

Dining
Sale E Pepe - Ornate Italian restaurant with antiques, mosaic-tile floors, and three dining areas. Outdoor terrace overlooks the beach. Awarding-winning wine cellar with more than 700 labels. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Resort-casual clothing is permitted for breakfast and lunch (Bermuda shorts/polo shirts acceptable; bathing suits must be completely covered by sarong or sundress). At dinner, jackets are required in the formal area of the dining room (jackets available for guest use); dress shoes, slacks and long-sleeved collared shirts are acceptable in the other two sections. For women, evening attire, including shoes (no sandals or flip flops), is expected.
Toulouse Lounge - This gas-lit bar and lounge evokes Paris at the turn of the century. Above the granite-topped bar is a large oil reproduction of scenes from Toulouse Lautrec’s Moulin Rouge series of paintings. Open daily with live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
Beachfront Bar & Grill - Frozen drinks, salads, hot dogs, homemade pizzas, desserts, and soft drinks are served beachside. Covered dining area. Open mid-morning until dusk (seasonal). Lunch and dinner served.
Poolside Bar - Located on the rooftop sundeck. Beverages, sandwiches, soft drinks. Open for lunch.
