Getting there: Commuter trains connect the airport and main train station, 200 metres from the hotel. A single ticket costs €8. Public buses also run from the airport to the main train station; a round-trip fare costs €15. All prices are subject to change.

Driving directions: From the airport take Highway A92, direction Salzburg, to highway A9. Take exit B2R to Trappentreustrasse. Turn left on Landsberger Strasse which becomes Bayer Strasse. Turn left onto Luisen Strasse, then left on Arnulf Strasse followed by an immediate right on Dachauer Strasse.

Getting around: Munich’s extensive public transportation system includes buses, trams, subway (U-bahn) and commuter trains (S-bahn). Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available at ticketing machines and in most subway kiosks. Tickets should be validated before boarding by using the blue stamping machines located near subway entrances, on train platforms, and in trams and buses. Day tickets for the inner city cost €4.50.
