Although a completely untypical beach (no sunbathing is done here), it offers ice cream and Kulfis (Indian ices) venues, places to sip a cappuccino or a beer, or just a chance to enjoy the sea breeze.
Rooms
Spread over the second to fifth floors, the 40 air-conditioned suites and 28 guestrooms come with either full or partial sea views and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Recreation
An outdoor swimming pool (closed during Monsoon season) is set on sixth floor. The small fitness centre on the second floor is operated by an instructor and houses two treadmill machines, a cross-trainer, a cycling machine, a weight machine, and some free weights.
Waterskiing and paragliding are available (surcharge) at various clubs dotted alongside Marine drive, approximately 2 km (1.5 miles) from the hotel.

Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM): Approximate travel time is 1 hour and distance is 20 km.
Getting there: Yellow-and-black metered taxis are readily available at the airport and a single taxi journey to the hotel will cost around IDR950 (US$20). The hotel can also arrange airport pick-up and drop-off with advance notice for IDR1,845 (US$40). Rental cars are not recommended for this area.
Getting around: Mumbai’s yellow-and-black metered taxis are a cheap, efficient, and safe way to explore the area. Travelers will need to ask and pay an extra fee for an air-conditioned taxi. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel along the seafront, horse and cart rides are available.

The Oriental Blossom - Authentic Cantonese and Schezwan delicacies are prepared by the in-house Chinese chef and served in this 78-capacity restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner daily, with white linen-topped tables surrounded with a blend of gold marble and intricate Oriental prints.
The Bayview Restaurant - This informal restaurant is open 24 hours and designed as a ship, with dark wood floors, bright yellow walls, shell motif black wooden chairs, and tiger-striped sofas. Offering panoramic views across the sea through porthole-style windows strewn with flags of various countries, this buffet restaurant serves Indian, Chinese, Thai, and international favorites such as pasta and pizza. A selection of coffees, teas, ice creams, and sweets are also available.
Geoffrey’s the Pub - Open from early morning to late evening, this English-style pub is decorated with traditional pub memorabilia and fitted with wooden tables and leather-topped stools. Kingfisher beer is served on tap, and a selection of scotch, wines, and spirits are also available.
