Spa

The Manea Spa combines traditional Tahitian architecture with modern facilities. Situated at the resort’s centre, the spa features three treatment rooms, a hammam, and two shower rooms (regular and Vichy).

Spa philosophy

Manea Spa incorporates the traditional art of Polynesian massage known as taurumi—which promotes harmony of body and mind using local island ingredients. The spa maintains a focus on the balance of nature and the environment and offers treatments employing ancient techniques and gestures—many of which were once reserved for Tahitian royalty.

Spa service menu

Monoi Ofai Hot Stone Treatment (80 minutes):
A relaxing massage featuring volcanic stones that use heat and texture to melt away tension.
Avae Tarumi Barefoot Bodywork (50 or 80 minutes):
Penetrating yet soothing strokes characterise this massage, which is performed without using the hands. Especially recommended for those who prefer a deep massage.
Mahana Otemanu Bora Deluxe Treatment (100 minutes):
Using the healing properties of the coconut palm, this signature treatment package begins with a nourishing coconut hair mask and scalp massage, followed by a coconut body polish and massage, leaving the skin with a healthy glow. Royal Pomare Manea (140 minutes):
The Royal Pomare Suite is a private treatment suite for couples. Each session includes a footbath, fruit and sand scrub, body rinse, jet shower, flower bath, an oil massage, and a jetted-tub bath. Finishes with a crowning ceremony. Manea Manea Ultimate Body Bliss (3 hours, 20 minutes):
> This complete experience combines a variety of treatments to relax and replenish. After exfoliation using one of a selection of natural scrubs, the body is covered in a mask of moisturising fruits and re-mineralising seaweed. This follows with a private spa tub session, and then an in-depth massage and replenishing facial. Monoi Matai (50 or 80 minutes):
A head-to-toe massage using a selection of fragrant local monoi oils. Hoho'a Tiare Aromatic Facial (30 minutes):
This treatment combines an extremely fragrant face pack combining fresh fruit, tiare flowers, coconut, and seaweed, leaving the skin feeling soft and beautiful.

Manea Spa products are made exclusively in Tahiti with a formula based on natural properties of regional flowers and plants, such as tiare, vanilla, sandalwood, and coconut.
