Guestrooms at the Westin Minneapolis are nonsmoking and include the Westin Heavenly Bed, which consists of a custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter (bedspread) and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative "boudoir" neck roll pillow).

Bathrooms include the Westin Heavenly Bath package, which consists of a dual showerhead with multiple spray options; curved shower rod for extra room; white-on-white shower curtain; velour, waffle-weave bathrobes; oversized Brazilian combed-cotton bath towels; and signature spa-style toiletries.

Furnished with desks, guestrooms also include 32-inch flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels and pay movies. Telephones have voice mail. Wireless Internet access is available (surcharge). Weekday newspapers are complimentary. Guestrooms also offer CD players, clock radios, and hair dryers as well as in-room safes, minibars, and coffeemakers. Turndown service is performed each evening (on request).

Restaurant features an open kitchen, a long communal table, intimate lounge seating, and traditional dining room seating. Menu varies with the seasons and includes fresh, locally produced ingredients. Sample dishes include innovative variations of cheese and chocolate fondue, Asian hot pot, and hot stone cooking. Rotisserie with daily specials, such as the restaurant's signature rotisserie chicken, grilled walleye, crab cakes with sweet corn puree, steaks, and chops. Lunch menu offers creative sandwiches. Three private dining rooms and two private lounge rooms, which include LCD screens and sound systems, also available.
