Hotel Information: This 788-room oceanfront Loews Miami Beach Hotel comprises the restored, 1930s Art Deco St. Moritz hotel and an adjacent, contemporary, 18-story tower. Giant columns, high ceilings, sky domes with cloud formations, sunken lounge spaces, and marble flooring create a modern Art Deco style in the tower lobby. Clientele includes business types attending on-site conferences, as their families take advantage of the pool, beach, weather, and the Miami scene.
Amenity highlights: The hotel offers a 150,000-gallon freeform pool with waterfall and zero-entry end. There are also two spa tubs and cabanas; poolside service is offered as well. An on-site fitness center is equipped with bikes, treadmills, and free weights. Complimentary yoga sessions and power walking are offered on the beach.

Please note: This hotel will be undergoing major renovations during the summer and early fall of 2009. Because of the construction, special rates at substantial savings will be available during renovations. Facilities, including the beach, lawn areas, spa, and pool, will remain open.

Emeril’s Miami Beach - The New Orleans-style cuisine of renowned chef Emeril Lagasse is featured in this restaurant located in the Art Deco building of the hotel. Menu items include fresh seafood and prime-aged steak. Seating is also available at the chef’s food bar and the outside café. Open for lunch and dinner.
Preston’s - This oceanfront terrace restaurant offers traditional fare, including soups, salads, steaks, seafood, and chicken in addition to a low-carbohydrate menu. A seafood buffet is offered Friday evenings. Indoor and patio dining. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Nautilus - Casual dining poolside includes cocktails, specialty drinks, soft drinks, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Mid-morning to early evening (seasonal; weather permitting).
Hemisphere Lounge - This causal gathering place overlooks the outdoor courtyard and is popular for evening drinks. Flat-screen TVs. Sushi bar Wednesday through Saturday nights. Extensive martini menu. Open mid-morning to late evening.
SoBe Coffee Bar - Located in the lobby. Espresso, pastries, and fresh fruit juices served early morning to noon.
