Hotel Information: The Hotel (formerly the Tiffany) has a 1939 edifice and original terrazzo floors, but has been entirely re-envisioned by designer Todd Oldham. The result is colorful, highly stylized, yet comfortable. The jewel-toned lobby has original Deco-era circular windows, and a wooden barrier with palm trees separates the Inner Garden dining room from the reception area. Guests—sometimes famous—come for the details, which include an egg-shaped banquette in green velvet and a mosaic-glass mirror in shades of gold. The Wish bar has a playful Moorish design.
Amenity highlights: Aside from an excellent location one block from the ocean in a South Beach shopping strip, the Hotel distinguishes itself with a rooftop pool featuring an unobstructed ocean view. Several cabanas line the intimate pool area, with massage services available, and the poolside bar serves food from the Hotel’s Wish restaurant. Complimentary beach services include beach chairs, umbrellas and wireless Internet service.
Rooms
The Hotel of South Beach offers 53 nonsmoking guestrooms in a four-story building. Gem-inspired lights glow with room numbers in the hallways.
Guestrooms are petite but carefully designed, with custom-made furnishings. Todd Oldham’s influence is everywhere, from the skinny closets framing window seats to pale-ash desks, mosaic handles, and tie-dyed bathrobes. Mirrors create space and windows are double-paned.
Beds have Frette bedding with satin-ribboned pillows. Bathrooms feature multi-colored, airbrushed bathroom tiles, fogless makeup/shaving mirrors, rainhead showers, and White Company of London bath products.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary for guests with a wireless card. Complimentary copies of The New York Times are delivered and twice-daily housekeeping is provided.

Recreation
This Collins Avenue hotel offers one of the only rooftop pools in South Beach with an unobstructed ocean view. The striped sundeck is petite in size and its emerald-shaped pool is 12 ft x 35 ft. The poolside bar serves food from Wish and cabanas offer massage services. One end of the pool includes jets, making it a quasi-spa tub.
Adjacent to the pool deck is a small fitness center, also with an ocean view. Another small deck is used for yoga classes on Saturday mornings (subject to change without notice).
A block from The Hotel of South Beach is Lummus Park and the beach, where two beach chairs and one umbrella are provided for two guests per room. The hotel can help arrange water-sports equipment rentals.
Flamingo Park offers tennis courts and a public pool. Windsurfers head to Hobie Beach, golfers go north to Bayshore Golf Course, and helicopter and airplane flightseeing is available from Watson Island.

Dining
Wish - This award-wining restaurant combines American cuisine with Asian influences. Past diners have included Mick Jagger, Susan Sarandon, and Madonna. Dinner is served in a romantic outdoor garden—with a fountain, lush plantings, and tables under white umbrellas—as well as a colorful, Persian-inspired indoor bar. In the bar, Merona-glass lamps in blues and purples highlight high tables and tall chairs; "electronic" cocktails glow with neon ice cubes. Breakfast and lunch are served in the sunny Inner Garden in the lobby. Wish serves breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner is served Tuesday–Sunday.
Poolside bar - Located on the rooftop deck, the poolside bar serves drinks and food from Wish from morning to night.
