Hotel Information: Originally built in 1937, Hotel Victor was completely renovated and reopened in 2005. The eight-story South Beach hotel celebrates its past with a beautifully restored Earl LePan mural, iron railings, and terrazzo floors in the lobby. Whimsical touches include couches shaped like fried eggs, cylindrical ceiling lamps with strands of crystals, and stained-glass artwork.
Insider tip: About a week prior to arrival, the hotel contacts guests in preparation for their visit. Guests planning to visit South Beach's nightclubs can request VIP access and/or passes to popular clubs, which fill up quickly.

Recreation
Hotel Victor's outdoor infinity pool overlooks Ocean Drive. The V Spa offers a co-ed, traditional Turkish Hammam bath, as well as a range of spa services (surcharge). Stationary bikes, treadmills, stair machines, and flat-screen TVs are available in the fitness center. Yoga is taught weekends on the beach (surcharge).
Across from the hotel, Lummus Park has a white-sand public beach, volleyball courts, a bike path, and a playground. Water-sports equipment rentals such as jet skis and parasails are available along the beach.
Flamingo Park, a half-mile away, is a public park with a water playground for children, tennis and basketball courts, and baseball and soccer fields.
