Special Check-in Instructions

As of November 14th, 2005, all passengers visiting Viva Wyndham Maya & Viva Wyndham Azteca must present their passport, immigration card, or ID at the front desk and allow the person on duty to photocopy either of these documents. This new procedure is due to new tax measures that the hotel must comply with.

Among Viva Wyndham Maya's many recreational facilities are a large freshwater pool, spa tub, sun terrace, and a health club with complimentary personal training. Tennis courts, a rock-climbing wall, and a trampoline are other fitness choices.

Complimentary group lessons are offered for windsurfing, sailing, tennis, Caribbean dance, and introductory scuba diving. A daily activities program includes water aerobics and beach volleyball. At night, guests head for the 600-seat theater to watch live entertainment and to dance at the resort’s disco.

The resort's diving center offers PADI certificate courses for scuba divers (surcharges for diving courses, certification, and trips).
