Hotel Information: Decorated in dark woods, muted yellows and greens, and subdued floral patterns, the high-traffic main lobby features distinctly Southern décor. The sounds of conversation, fountain, and tinkling piano music blend soothingly. The clientele is wide-ranging, from vacationing travelers to upscale professionals.
Amenity highlights: The main attraction is the daily duck march that takes place like clockwork at 11 AM and 5 PM. Guests, as well as curious locals and tourists, line the red carpet twice daily to cheer the ducks and take snapshots. In addition to the on-site shopping, fine restaurants, and hip lobby bar, guests can also access the nearby Peabody Place complex via an interior corridor. Gould’s day spa provides facials and body treatments.
Insider tip: Sunday Brunch on the rooftop of the Peabody is a Memphis tradition. Other rooftop events, such as live concerts, also occur periodically.
