Reception hours of operation: 7 AM–11 PM Monday–Friday, 8 AM–11 PM weekends and public holidays.

Rooms
All 20 individually styled guestrooms have large original windows that open, as well as independent air conditioning. They also contain kitchenettes with minibar refrigerators, microwaves, and tea and coffee making facilities. Beds are topped with down comforters and Tasmanian woollen blankets, while bathrooms are equipped with handmade herbal soaps and bath salts. Amenities include cable TVs, CD players, and direct-dial phones with voice mail. Internet access is both wireless (complimentary) and dial-up (surcharge). |

Recreation
The hotel is just 500 metres from the Royal Botanic Gardens, which has a popular walking/jogging path known as the Tan. Only 300 metres away is Fawkner Park, also great for walking. The South Yarra Tennis Centre is located in Fawkner Park. The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (1.5 km) has basketball and squash/racquetball facilities, as well as a heated 50-metre pool, wave pool, and diving pool. The Prahran Aquatic Centre, with an outdoor 50-metre pool, is about 2 km away. Albert Park Golf Course and its accompanying driving range is just 1.5 km away. The Yarra River (1.5 km) provides rowing and canoeing opportunities, as well as a cycling path alongside it. St Kilda (5 km) has boating and fishing facilities. There are several aerobics/Pilates/yoga studies in the suburb of South Yarra.

Driving directions from Melbourne International Airport (MEL): Head southeast towards Melbourne, taking the Tullamarine Freeway. This leads to Citylink, which requires payment (check that the rental car is equipped with an ETag). Take Citylink all the way to the Westgate Freeway exit. Turn left onto the Westgate Freeway and continue until Kings Way exit. Turn right and travel along Kings Way until it ends at St Kilda Road. Cross St Kilda Road into Toorak Road. Park Street is the sixth street on the left.

Hatton Hotel’s front lounge serves a daily complimentary Continental breakfast with espresso coffee or tea served seven days. Light snacks, such as cheese selections, dips, fruit, nuts, and chocolates can be purchased and consumed here, as can refreshments like espresso coffee, tea, soft drinks, juice, wine, beer, and spirits.
