Reception hours of operation: Monday-Saturday, 7.30 AM–10 PM; Sunday, 8 AM–6 PM.

Instructions: A caretaker is on duty for guests checking in outside of reception hours. These guests are requested to ring the intercom bell on the front door to request assistance.

Renovation Notice

A soft refurbishment program will take place during winter 2007. This will involve some painting, and replacement of soft furnishings. Minimal disruption is expected.

Recreation

Guests are invited to use the recreational facilities available at the sister property located at 471 Little Bourke Street (just 1.5 blocks away). These include a spa tub, sauna, and fitness room. This is a complimentary service.

Less than 1 km away are Parliament Gardens with walking and jogging tracks. The more expansive Carlton and Treasury gardens offer similar exercise paths and are both approximately 1.5 km from the apartments (to the north-east and north-west of the city centre respectively). Approximately 3 km away is Albert Park, encompassing some 225 hectares of sporting and recreational facilities for jogging, cycling, swimming, walking, diving netball, tennis, indoor cricket, squash, cricket, soccer, baseball, hockey, lawn bowls, boating, golf, and table tennis.

Located opposite the heritage-listed General Post Office shopping precinct and adjacent to two major department stores, the Pacific International Little Bourke Street offers a central business district location, with the culinary lures of Chinatown only 1 block away. On-site facilities include a coin-operated guest laundry with dryer and washing machine, and a complimentary safe deposit box which is located at reception. Fax transmission is available at reception for a small fee. Guests are invited to use the recreational facilities at 471 Little Bourke Street (including gym, sauna, and spa tub) on a complimentary basis.

Self parking:
Special arrangement with Secure Parking. Located approximately 300 metres from apartments at 217 Londsdale Street with dual entry from Little Bourke Street (please note that it is located between Swanston and Russell streets). Guests must have their parking ticket stamped by hotel reception staff to receive discount rate. Covered and secure.

Driving direction from Melbourne International Airport (MEL): Exit the airport and take the Tullamarine Freeway, heading south for approximately 10 km and following sign-posted directions to the city. The freeway becomes the Citylink Tollway at Strathmore. Continue for approximately 7 km. At Parkville, the road becomes Flemington Road. Continue for approximately 2 km and at the roundabout take the second exit onto Elizabeth Road. After 1.2 km turn left at Londsdale Street and after 340 metres turn left into Tattersalls Lane. Then right into Little Bourke Street. Those traveling on the Citylink Tollway without an e-TAG device fitted should phone 13 26 29 (within Australia) in advance of travel to arrange an appropriate tollway pass or, if retrospective payment is required, the driver should phone the same phone number as soon as possible on the same day of travel to arrange payment.


By shuttle

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Shuttle bus services depart the airport for the CBD at regular intervals. Ask at the airport information counter for the departure point for the shuttle service which stops at/near Pacific International Apartments – Little Bourke Street, ensuring to stipulate the “Little Bourke Street” property, as there are several Pacific International apartments and suites located in Melbourne. Guests may book a return shuttle transfer with reception staff at the hotel (please try and allow at least 1-2 days notice if possible).
