The reception desk is available during limited hours only. Please use the intercom outside reception for after-hours check-in. Guests intending to arrive outside the standard hours of operation must contact reception prior to arrival in order to make alternate arrangements.

Recreation

Guests wanting exercise can walk/jog to Fitzroy Gardens (1 km) and/or the Royal Botanic Gardens (less than 3 km). The Royal Botanic Gardens has a 3.7-km running track known as the Tan. The nearest golf course is Albert Park (3 km). The Yarra River (1 km) is a popular spot for rowing and canoeing, and there are various spots along the river where bicycles can be hired. Squash/racquetball can be played at Melbourne University (2 km), while tennis courts at Melbourne Park (1.5 km) can be booked by the public. Driving directions from Melbourne International Airport (MEL): Head southeast towards Melbourne, taking the Tullamarine Freeway. This leads to CityLink, which requires payment (check that your rental car is equipped with an e-TAG). Take CityLink to the Flemington Road exit. Travel along Flemington Road to Elizabeth Street (large roundabout) and turn right into Elizabeth Street. Turn left into Victoria Street, right into Exhibition Street, and left into Lonsdale Street.

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Skybus picks up and drops off at Spencer Street Station. Guests travelling between Spencer Street Station and the hotel can catch a taxi or a tram (numbers 88, 96) up Bourke Street to Exhibition Street (one block from hotel).

Dining

The property does not have its own dining facilities but breakfast arrangements have been made with the Why Not Café, located next door. Monday–Friday, guests can purchase breakfast vouchers from hotel reception good for a muffin breakfast (muffin and juice), Continental breakfast, or cooked breakfast.
