Renovation Notice

The Courtyard Budget section of the hotel is currently being extended by four floors. Work will be done 7 AM until 3:30 PM Monday to Friday and 8 AM until 3 PM Saturdays. There will be some noise disturbance.

Recreation

Enterprise Park on Yarra River (63 hectares) is just two blocks away; guests can jog/walk along paths that run along the Yarra River, all the way to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Bicycles can be hired at points along the Yarra, while Port Phillip Bay (2 km) has fishing and sailing opportunities. Several aerobics studios are located in the blocks surrounding the hotel.

Property Amenities

This hotel is in a heritage-listed building constructed in the late 1800s. Interior décor is a combination of wood, leather, and stone, with a marble floor and Afghan rugs in the lobby. Overall décor has a subtle Asian touch with antique reproduction Chinese cabinets on each floor and Asian artwork on the walls. The Jarrah Asia Restaurant serves Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese food.

Driving directions from Melbourne International Airport (MEL): Head southeast towards Melbourne, taking the Tullamarine Freeway. This leads to CityLink, which requires payment (check that your rental car is equipped with an ETag). Take CityLink to the Flemington Road exit. Travel along Flemington Road to Elizabeth Street (large roundabout) and turn right into Elizabeth Street. Turn right into Flinders Lane. Drive to the end of Flinders Lane. The hotel is on the corner of Flinders Lane and Spencer Street.
