Credit card details, current photo ID, and a refundable $20 cash key deposit will be required for check-in.

Rooms

Completely refurbished in 2006, the Apartments of South Yarra comprises 12 self-contained, one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment contains a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower), equipped kitchen, meal area, and lounge with foldout double sofa. All linen and towels are supplied. Apartments sleep up to four persons.

Apartments of South Yarra does not have a check-in reception at the property. Guests will need to check-in via Claremont Guest House: check-in (1PM) and check-out (10:00AM). 189 Toorak Road, South Yarra 3141. Tel: +61 3 9826 8000.

Rollaway beds and cribs (infant beds) may be available and should be requested at the time of booking. Both are available on a complimentary basis, but guests should note that supply is limited.
Credit card is required upon check-in for incidental charges/security deposit. Photo identification is required from guests paying in cash. Guests paying in cash must also pay for their full accommodation in advance and leave an AUD100 per night security deposit.

Directions (subject to change without notice): Taxi stands are located outside the airport Arrivals terminals. The Apartments of South Yarra are located at 46 Arthur Street, South Yarra, but guests must check-in at the Claremont Guest House, approximately 200 metres away at 189 Toorak Road. Travellers should therefore ask the driver to proceed to 189 Toorak Road, South Yarra.

Driving directions from Melbourne International Airport (MEL): Exit the airport and take the Tullamarine Freeway. Take the Bell Street exit at Strathmore, and then continue along Bell Street through the suburb of Pascoe Vale South for approximately 6 km. Turn right at St. Georges Road, Preston, and after travelling approximately 3.5 km, take the second exit at the roundabout, onto Merri Parade, Northcote. After approximately 0.5 km, bear left at Westgarth Street, Northcote, and then turn right at High Street. Travel approximately 0.5 km and then bear left at the ramp at Clifton Hill. Continue along Hoddle Street, Clifton Hill. At Richmond this street becomes Punt Road. Continue for 2.4 km and then turn left at Toorak Road, South Yarra. Check-in must be completed at Claremont Guest House, 189 Toorak Road (approximately 0.5 km from the apartments). After check-in, reception staff will give directions to the Apartments of South Yarra at 46 Arthur Street (accessed via William Street).

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Door-to-door shuttle bus services depart the airport for Claremont Guest House (situated one block from the apartments). 24 hours’ notice is required for shuttle bus bookings. Travellers are requested to make arrangements at the time of booking accommodation; return transfers may be arranged with reception staff at the Claremont Guest House.
