The Albert Park Manor is a large mansion-style building that was built at the turn of the 1900s. It has been a hotel since 2000. While trams to and from the city and St Kilda run past the hotel, 35-centimetre thick walls keep the interior quiet. A guest laundry on the middle floor has a washing machine and dryer (surcharge), and an iron and ironing board. Wireless Internet access is provided throughout this hotel. (complimentary). Driving directions from Melbourne International Airport (MEL): Head southeast towards Melbourne, taking the Tullamarine Freeway. This leads to Citylink, which requires payment (check that the rental car is equipped with an ETag). Take Citylink all the way to the Westgate Freeway exit. Turn left onto the Westgate Freeway and continue until Kings Way exit. Turn right and travel along Kings Way until it ends at St Kilda Road. Cross St Kilda Road and the hotel is on the left, near the corner with Toorak Road.
