Hotel Information: Kihei is a bustling, sunny town filled with small shopping centers, restaurants, and beach parks. The condos at the red-roofed Maui Vista Resort share open-air hallways and lush gardens that create a casual, family-friendly ambience.
The pools on site and the beach across the street offer recreational opportunities; the surrounding shopping areas are also popular destinations.
Amenity highlights: Three four-story 1970s-era buildings are set amidst extensive, tropical gardens. Six tennis courts, three pools, and three secluded picnic areas with barbecues beckon guests to exercise and relax.
Tennis-racket rentals, complimentary newspapers, an activity desk, and an Internet kiosk (surcharge) are available in the front office.
Insider tip: Eight miles south of the hotel is an undeveloped land area with golden sand and the fishing preserve of Makena Beach. At dawn or at dusk, you might spot spinner dolphins at play.
Rooms
This 10-acre Maui condo resort comprises three four-story buildings. Fully equipped kitchens in all condos include full-sized refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, blenders, toasters, coffeemakers, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Furnished lanais provide a variety of views. Living rooms are air-conditioned and contain sofa beds and dining tables. Washer/dryers are included.
Some units have ceiling fans. Smoking is not permitted within the condos. Extras such as CD players, DVD players, VCRs, and irons/ironing boards are available in some accommodations.
