Hotel Information: An avenue of oleander and flowering trees leads to an open-air lobby draped around a koi-pond atrium with waterfalls and streams. The Maui Prince Hotel's A-shaped structure points toward a crescent beach and Molokini Islet in the distance. Located in a five-story, A-shaped building, the Maui Prince Hotel Makena Resort's 310 air-conditioned guestrooms open to a garden atrium and offer partial or full ocean views from furnished lanais.
Amenities include high-speed and wireless Internet access (surcharges), bathrobes and slippers, 27-inch TVs with premium channels, and in-room safes. The Makena hotel has compact refrigerators and coffeemakers that provide bottled water and coffee (each included in resort fee).
Rooms were renovated spring 2008 with new natural-wood furnishings, new artwork, larger beds, and new bedding.

Recreation
Part of the 1,800-acre Makena Resort, the 17-acre Maui Prince Hotel hugs a crescent of beach with calm ocean waters. Water-sports equipment rentals are available, including kayak tours, outrigger canoe rides, and paddle boards; a 46-foot catamaran (surcharge) sails from the beach to Molokini Islet, where some of Maui’s best snorkeling can be found.
On-site facilities include an outdoor splash pool, children's pool, and spa tub. A fitness center provides free weights, strength-training equipment, and cardiovascular machines such as an elliptical trainer, stair machine, and treadmill.
The resort is home to an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Golf facilities include a driving range, putting green, and pro shop.
Adjacent to the golf course are six tennis courts (surcharge). Other activities include croquet, shuffleboard, table tennis, Hawaiian craft classes, volleyball, and fitness classes; fees may apply.
The Prince Keiki Club children’s program offers supervised half- and full-day activities for children ages 5–12 (surcharge).

Hakone - Featuring a sake lounge and sushi bar. Also serves traditional Japanese cuisine with island flavors. Open for dinner Wednesday-Saturday. Japanese buffet on Saturday.
Café Kiowai - Serving buffet and à la carte breakfast daily--including signature Eggs Benedict--on a glass-sheltered terrace with garden views.
Makena Clubhouse - Overlooking the 10th hole of the Makena South Golf Course, the clubhouse is a casual spot for island lunch or pupus and drinks during sunset hours.
Molokini Lounge - Serving tropical drinks and pupus in the evening, this sunset terrace features live island entertainment with hula music.
