Bicycles are available to hire from reception and the hotel organises walks across the countryside. At the beach guests can enjoy free use of pedal boats and canoes; the Blue Waves Water Sports Centre provides activities including jet skiing, water skiing, windsurfing, fishing trips and speed boat rentals (surcharges apply). There is also a scuba diving centre offering courses from one-day tasters to six-day open water courses.

Property Amenities

Ramla Bay Resort is set in landscaped gardens with two outdoor sea water pools and one indoor pool, heated during the winter months; there are also two children’s pools. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are located on the pool deck where guests can sip cool drinks from the bar whilst bronzing in the sun. The private sandy beach also offers sun beds and umbrellas free of charge for guests (not open during winter months). There is a fitness room, and after a work out, guests can unwind in the steam room, sauna and spa tub or visit the massage treatment room for extra pampering and relaxation. The hotel offers a full daily entertainment programme during the summer season, with aerobics classes in the mornings, games and sports activities, salsa dancing classes during the day, and live entertainment in evenings in the Sunset Lounge. Children are kept happy at the kids’ club where fun activities such as face painting, mask making, t-shirt designing, water-polo, treasure hunts, bingo and kids’ shows are organised by the entertainment team. The Horizon Restaurant - Decorated in rich earthy tones with teak furnishings and an open air terrace, this restaurant serves buffet dishes including international and Maltese specialities with show cooking station. Theme buffets nights. Vegetarian and children’s options available. Sunset Lounge Bar - Located next to the lobby with inside and outside seating areas and furnished with teak furniture and sofas. Afternoon tea, homemade cakes and snacks served from noon to 4 PM. Live evening entertainment. Open daily until midnight. Sea Breeze Pool Bar - Mediterranean and Maltese snacks are served during the day and an à la carte menu in the evening.
