Getting there: The Marbella bus departs every 45 minutes and goes to the Marbella city bus station. A single ticket costs around €4. Taxis wait outside the terminal. Average fare is €55 to Marbella. All prices subject to change.

Driving directions: From the airport, take N348 (Avenida Comandante Garcia Morato) and after one kilometre, turn right onto N340a towards Algeciras-Benalmadena. After three kilometres, turn right onto A7 towards Algeciras-Benalmadena. Take exit 214 for A7 Coast-Fuengirola-Marbella-Algeciras. Take the Marbella Centre exit. Turn onto Avda. Severe Ochoa then turn right onto Avda. Nabeul. After 100 metres, turn left onto C/Felix Rodriguez de la Fuenta. Cross the main road onto Avda. el Fuerte.

Getting around: Marbella is best explored on foot. Driving in the town centre is not recommended. For visitors wishing to travel down the coast and inland the best option is to hire a car. Attractions and resorts are spread quite far apart and often there are limited transport options.
