Hotel Information: With fountains, flowering plants, and an arched glass awning, the entrance creates a gracious first impression. The two-story lobby is appointed with butterscotch leather seating, ivory marble floor, golden-brown paneling, and cherry-and-cobalt accents. Weekday guests are mostly businesspeople. On weekends, the hotel attracts families who appreciate its secure, suburban setting near shopping and within 17 miles of Universal Studios Hollywood, Griffith Park, and the Los Angeles Zoo.
Amenity highlights: The hotel's restaurant showcases California cuisine in a light-filled room with arched atrium ceiling and a curved wall of windows facing the outdoor pool. In warmer months, guests can dine on the terrace. The indoor pool has a high atrium ceiling and walls of windows overlooking the outdoor pool and greenery. The 16-story Warner Center Marriott has 474 guestrooms. The hotel completed a $6 million renovation of rooms and suites in April 2008.
