Insider tip: The Universal City Metro station is two blocks from the hotel, providing fast and easy subway access (surcharge) to Hollywood, downtown L.A., and other areas and attractions. Although it's possible to walk to Universal Studios, the path is steep, so guests often opt for the hotel’s complimentary scheduled tram to the Universal Studios entrance, where another complimentary shuttle provides transportation to the Metro station.
