Hotel Information: The large, circular lobby is located up a few marble steps from the bell-desk landing. Sofas and chairs are arranged around small tables, with greenery all around. With its location adjoining the World Trade Center, the hotel attracts mainly corporate clientele with some leisure guests on weekends.
Insider tip: The historic Breakers, across from the street, is a Long Beach landmark. This high-rise building, formerly a luxury hotel, is now a retirement home with a special attraction: Its rooftop offers one of the area’s best views of the city and harbor. Guests who want to enjoy the view for more than just a few minutes can make dinner reservations in the excellent rooftop dining room, which opened in 1926.
