Recreation

England's national football stadium, Wembley, is located 20 miles from the hotel, a journey of six stops on the Underground's Metropolitan line.

The Grove’s 18-hole Championship golf course, was host to the World Golf Championships in 2006. With no clubhouse or membership, the 7,152 yard, par 72 course is playable all year round, and is suitable for groups of all sizes and standards. The hotel has two tennis courts and a croquet lawn. There are also running and cycling trails through 300 acres of The Grove’s parkland and woodland.

Colette’s - Situated on the ground floor of the mansion, with its own entrance, the Grove’s premier restaurant is spread across three rooms and small bar, opening out onto a large terrace with views over the estate to the lake and Grand Union canal. The á la carte menu, which changes seasonally, offers modern cooking with a classic twist, with an emphasis on quality British produce. Open Tuesday to Saturday; open for dinner on Sundays of Bank Holiday weekends. The Glasshouse - A large, light and airy space in the hotel’s modern wing, with chandeliers and floor to ceiling glass walls, it looks out onto the formal gardens and golf course. Informal and bustling this venue is built around an open-plan kitchen, creating British, Mediterranean and Asian dishes, prepared on rotisseries, in woks and wood fired ovens, and presented as a buffet. A glass wine bar sits at the centre of the room. The Stables - Relaxed dining in the hotel’s original stable block with wooden floors and leather banquettes for a contemporary country look. The restaurant and bar offer views over the stable yard and golf course. The menu includes pizzas baked in wood-burning ovens, fish dishes, fresh bread and creative salads. Daily specials and children’s portions are available.
