Hotel Information: Protected as a National Monument, the Valle Flôr palace and gardens allow guests to experience the lifestyle of the Marquês de Valle Flôr, who commissioned the palace in the late 19th century. After years of restoration and building additions within the palace's walled compound, the Pestana Palace opened in 2001.

Pestana Palace offers 190 guestrooms in two three-storey wings bordering the central garden. Clad in pale-grey marble and topped with mansard roofs, the 2001 wings complement the palace's 19th century design. Guestrooms reflect the palatial setting, albeit in a less ornate style, with white ceilings and walls, dark-wood trim, pale-blue carpeting, dark-blue brocade drapes, gilt-framed paintings, and brocade upholstered armchairs. |
