Hotel Information: The Platinum Hotel and Spa is a smoke-free property a half-mile from the Strip. A well-lit, contemporary lobby with natural wood, glass accents, and clean lines welcomes guests. The hotel caters to guests who prefer a spa-like atmosphere to the bustle of area mega-resorts.

Insider tip: When you tire of the glitzy cuisine and buffets on the Strip, head for Las Vegas' famed Restaurant Row, which begins about a quarter-mile from the hotel on East Flamingo Road and features some of the country’s best names in dining, including Roy’s, Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Morton’s, McCormick & Schmick’s, Buca di Beppo, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
Rooms
The Platinum Hotel and Spa has 255 one- and two-bedroom guest suites on 16 floors. Contemporary furnishings and earth-tones with natural wood accents create sleek, clean lines. Suites offer separate bedrooms with TVs and loveseats.
Full kitchens are equipped with stainless steel appliances, including full refrigerators, ranges, and microwaves. Large living rooms include sofa beds and dining areas. Private, furnished balconies provide seating for four and some rooms offer views of either mountains or the Strip.
Other amenities include pillowtop mattresses, 42-inch plasma TVs in the living area, MP3 docking stations, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have double vanities and jetted tubs.
