Spa

The Mandara spa is decorated with water features, pebble floors, and stone-clad walls, Balinese carvings, and garden beds. It offers traditional Asian therapies and Decléor Facials. Two double Grand Suites, two double Villa Rooms, and four single rooms are available. Other facilities include separate male and female relaxation lounges, change rooms, and steam showers. Mandara Spa uses organic products as part of treatments that are based on 100 percent pure essential oils. Influences from Bali, Hawaii, Thailand, and Europe provide for a unique blend of treatments, with signature therapies including traditional and unique massage, salt scrubs, wraps, and warm stone therapy.

Signature Service. A luxurious indulgence beginning with an Aromatherapy Footbath and Lavender Body Wash. Following is a Scrub for exfoliating dead skin cells. An Aromatherapy Floral Bath or Herbal Steam cleanses and a Mandara Massage beautifies, nourishes, and rejuvenates the whole body. A Foot Massage and Decleor Facial complete the indulgence.

Giving the look and feel of healthy, radiant skin, the treatment commences with an Aromatherapy foot bath. Then a lavender body wash, choice of body scrub, and a tea ceremony are followed by a Balinese Massage or Pure Natural facial.

Ayurvedic Shiro Dhara (50−80 minutes): MYR210−MRY315 (US$61−$92)
This treatment aims to clear the mind and encourage deep relaxation. It begins with a brief relaxing Ayurvedic massage, then for 20 minutes, a gentle flow of aromatic oil is poured onto the forehead.

Harmony - Exfoliation (110 minutes): MYR445 (US$129)
Refreshing and radiant treatment begins with an Aromatherapy Footbath and Lavender Body Wash. A Body Scrub sloughs dead skin debris away and an Aromatherapy Floral Bath soaks and cleanses, and softens. A Traditional Asian Facial or Balinese Massage follows.

A therapeutic deep cleansing prescribed facial. Power ‘absolutes’ and premium grade essential oils treat the skin at the deepest level, gently and surely. Rooms

All guestrooms and apartments in the Prince Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur are provided with premium bedding and pillow menus for all beds, and are air conditioned with adjustable controls in-room. Hotel guestrooms offer minibars and daily bottled water, and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all accommodation. Recreation

On-site recreation at Prince Hotel and Residence includes a swimming pool and children’s pool. The tenth floor health club offers a selection of classes, such as aerobics and yoga. Attendance at classes can be arranged through reception or at the health club. A qualified fitness instructor is available to assist guests. The health club is complimentary and is open from early morning till late.

The Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Clubs are within 30 km (19 miles) of the hotel. Hotel guests can make arrangements with the respective golf courses regarding nonmember play. Tours can be arranged through the hotel including scuba diving and snorkelling within 80 km (50 miles) of the Prince Hotel and Residence. Tennis courts for hire are located at Bangsar Sports Complex, 10 km (6 miles) from the hotel, and at Kampung, Datuk Keramat, within 5 km (3 miles) of the hotel. Ten-pin bowling is at the Yow Chuan Plaza at Jalan Tun Razak, 3 km (2 miles) from the hotel. The Prince Hotel and Residence has lift attendants who can assist guests to each level. Guests can request valet parking (surcharge), and there are complimentary parking spaces within the basement, and a hotel parking garage. Through the concierge, guests can arrange a limousine service for airport transfers. A complimentary shuttle service is also available to in-house guests to the local city commercial areas such as the Twin Towers and the city centre. Rental cars may also be arranged. Conference/function room(s): On level three, the nine function rooms, main ballroom, and pre-function area provide 1,500 square metres (16,146 square feet) of floor space. The Grand Prince Ballroom accommodates 800 guests and may be partitioned into two equal sized rooms. The 577 square metres (6,211 square feet) Junior Prince Ballroom is on level three. The nine function rooms range in capacity from 40 to 120 guests. Two smaller meeting rooms are located next to the business centre, each with capacity of eight guests. A VIP room may also be requested, which is 87 square metres (936 square feet) of floor space.

Instructions: Taxi stands are located outside of Gate 3 International Terminal, Arrival Level. Upon exiting the baggage claim area there are taxi counters for purchase of taxi vouchers, for limousine taxis and budget taxis. Guests should advise the taxi driver to travel to the city centre, towards Jalan Bukit Bintang, and then to Jalan Conlay, near the Jade Museum.

Dining

Tai Zi Heen Chinese Restaurant - The hotel’s signature restaurant. Serves Cantonese cuisine, with an emphasis on seafood dishes, and dim sum (small serves of varying meat, seafood, vegetable dishes, and steamed buns). Offers signature dishes such as Traditional Peking Duck and Braised Superior Shark's Fin with Crab Roe and Consomme. Wine, cognacs, armagnac, and brandies are offered in the semi-formal dining room, appointed with original artworks.

Eccucino Brasserie - Brasserie. Serves Western and Asian menu. Features a wood fire oven for fresh pizzas, a Tandoori oven for authentic Tandoori dishes, and grill and wok cooking. Also offers a hot and cold buffet selection from breakfast through to High Tea and dinner.

Taishojin - Informal style Japanese food is served in a modern setting with optional counter-style dining. Guests can select from a range of wine, sake, whisky, and beer. Seats 60 guests and offers two Tatami rooms (private dining areas, on woven grass mats with floor seating). Open Monday to Friday for lunch, dinner from Monday to Saturday.

Mezzanine Bar and Lounge - The menu at the bar and lounge includes wine, champagne, and cocktails, as well as juices, smoothies, snacks, sandwiches, and pastries. Morning and afternoon tea, and coffee available daily. The lounge has two large screens for showing live events.

Fidel's Cigar Room - The level-two cigar bar offers a range of cigars and wine.

Terrace Poolside Bar & Grill - Offers views of the city skyline. Set in landscaped tropical gardens on the tenth floor. Serves light snacks for lunch and dinner. Drinks include alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, smoothies, beer, wine, and cocktails.
