Location Details
Getting there: The resort provides transportation from the airport to Koh Phangan via speedboat (surcharge). For transfer pick-up flight details must be provided in advance.
Rental cars are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with this area.
Koh Samui Airport (USM): Approximate distance to Santhiya Resort and Spa is 40 km (25 miles).
Approximate travel time from the airport to the hotel: 30 minutes

Schedule and directions (subject to change without notice): Hotel speedboat transfers are available at the resort. The boat makes two trips daily to Bangrak (Samui). The first boat leaves the resort at 9:20 AM and the second at 1:30 PM. Return trips are scheduled at 11 AM and 4:30 PM. A private speedboat also operates on the Island. Transfers cost THB 1,000 each way, per person (now until October 2009).
Ferry and Santhiya Car (non-refundable) transfers are available when speedboats are grounded as a result of adverse weather conditions or technical problems. The Santhiya Car makes two trips to Thongsala pier at 9:30 and 3:00 pm. Return trips leave at 1:30 and 5:30.
Dining
A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each morning.
Chantara Restaurant - Wide selection of Thai cuisine, including salads, seafood, poultry, pasta, and desserts. Coupled with extensive international wine list, including Thai premium wines. Panoramic bay and sea views.
Mahkok-Wine - In a hillside setting under a Mahkok tree with views of the pool and surrounding tropical vegetation. Relaxed setting offering international selection of wines, freshly brewed coffee specialties, herbal teas, and other beverages. Light meals.
Dining By the Sea Bar - At the water's edge adjacent to the swimming pool. Open for lunch and dinner. Al fresco dining. Wok cooking, barbecued fish, sushi and sashimi, meats, skewered vegetables, crisp salads, and vegetarian dishes.
