Location Details

Phuket International Airport (HKT): Approximate travel time is one hour 45 minutes and distance is 40 km (25 miles).

Getting there: The Racha is located on a private island, so boat transportation is required from Phuket’s Chalong Bay. The resort can arrange ground and boat transportation from the airport to Chalong Bay, and then to the island. Travel time from the airport to Chalong Bay takes approximately one hour; travel time from Chalong Bay to the resort takes approximately 45 minutes.

Instructions: The resort can arrange ground and boat transportation from the airport to Chalong Bay, and then to the island. The boat departs Chalong Bay at 11:30 AM, 2 PM, and 5 PM and leaves the island at 9 AM, noon, and 4 PM. The resort must be notified of guests’ flight itineraries at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to arrange ground and boat transportation. Guests must arrive at Phuket International Airport at least 90 minutes before each boat departure from Chalong Pier. Conversely, guests must leave The Racha at 3-4 hours before their flight departure to allow enough time for the transfer from Chalong Peir to the airport. Guests arriving at Phuket Airport later than 3:30 PM cannot be transferred to Racha on the same evening.
