Amenity highlights: The rooftop pool deck on the ninth floor of the main building is furnished with deck chairs set around an oval-shaped 20-meter freeform pool and spa tub. Just inside sits the Davis Bangkok’s fitness facilities and spa including eight treatment rooms and fitness equipment. To the rear of the hotel sits the Baan Thai or Thai villa area featuring a central pool and ornamental gardens.
Insider tip: Up Sukhumvit Soi 24 (soi is Thai for road) and to the left is the main Sukhumvit Road, one of Thailand’s busiest avenues filled with shopping, restaurants, street vendors, and transport links. Less than a hundred meters from the corner to the left is Queen Sirikit park, which offers some respite in semi-landscaped gardens celebrating Thailand’s current queen. The Davis’ own tuk-tuk ferries guests around the immediate area.
Spa

The Davis Bangkok is separated into three buildings: the main wing, the corner wing, and the Baan Thai area. The main wing stands nine floors tall and contains164 guestrooms. The pool and fitness facilities are set atop this building. Inside can be found the hotel’s bar and dining areas as well as the meeting rooms and business center on the ground and first floors. The corner wing, designed more for younger and budget travelers, is seven floors containing 74 guestrooms. At the rear of the hotel is the Baan Thai, which houses ten Thai-style villas around a pool and gardens.

Getting there: The most practical option for getting from the airport to the Davis Bangkok is by meter taxi. Airport limousine services are also available. Rental cars are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with this area. Click the links below for instructions/details.
Getting around: Though meter taxis are easily available around Bangkok’s streets, and a trip to the city may cost as little as THB100 (US$1–$5), traffic congestion may increase the attraction of using the series of railways when in the city. The SkyTrain runs through Bangkok’s central business district from the Chao Phraya River in the south to Chatuchak Park in the north. The central station is approximately 6 km (4 miles) away. Rental cars are not recommended for this area.

Gallery Cafe - Adjacent to the lobby, the Gallery Café’s glass wall allows substantial natural light onto its glass tabletops and 2.5-meter (8-foot) clock. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant offers an international buffet.
Club 88 - On the opposite side of the bar from the Gallery Café, Club 88 is a bar open during evenings and offering live music for patrons seated both at lounges and tables.
Pool Bar - The Pool Bar is open until evening and provides light refreshments to guests at the pool and fitness centers.
