Insider tip: Four blocks from the hotel is the Crossroads Art District, which has about 45 galleries and restaurants in a 20-block area. On the first Friday of each month, all galleries are open late and offer refreshments, and music and trolley rides are offered within the District.

The Westin Crown Center has 729 rooms and suites located on 18 floors, each with high-speed Internet access, oversized work desks, multi-line phones, 27-inch televisions with HBO and pay movies, and compact refrigerators. Balconies—with sliding glass doors opening slightly for ventilation—offer skyline, Liberty Memorial, or Union Station views.
All rooms have the Westin Heavenly Bed, which consists of a custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative neck roll pillow).
