Acclaimed for its challenging layout and spectacular beauty, the Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club is rated by SCOREGolf Magazine as the #1 Golf Resort in Canada (guest discount; reservations required). Guests can rent canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats for exploring lovely Lac Beauvert, which fronts the resort. An on-site stable offers a wide choice of trail rides (surcharge) along meadows, marshes, foothills, and glacial lakes. Other warm-weather activities include guided nature walks (surcharge), hiking, tennis (surcharge), and bocce ball. The resort rents mountain, tandem, and cruise bikes.
Ice skating on Lac Beauvert is a perfect way to begin the day (rental skates available). Other winter activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sleigh rides, and snowmobile tours (surcharges).
The health club offers an exercise room, indoor spa tub, sauna, steam room, Ping-Pong, shuffleboard, and pool table. The outdoor heated pool, open year-round and accessible from indoors, is 21 meters (about 23 yards) long.
Marmot Basin, 18 km (11 mi) away, offers 84 downhill trails, 3,000 vertical feet, and snow-filled bowls for snowboarders. The dry, powdery snow is completely natural, and the slopes are uncrowded.

The Moose's Nook Northern Grill – AAA Alberta Beef, fresh fish, regional cuisine, and entertainment in a rustic setting. Open daily. Dinner reservations highly recommended.
Tent City – Casual sports bar and lounge with pool tables, TVs, and dart boards. Open from September to May.
