Travel Details

The Excelsior Hong Kong

Hotel Information: Splendidly attired Sikh doorstaff welcome guests with a warm smile. Suits, shorts, and airline uniforms set the scene in the small, contemporary lobby, as international business travelers and leisure travelers mingle with flight crews who make the hotel their base. Many staff members have been with the hotel for decades.

Amenity highlights: The very English Dickens Bar is a long-time favorite among locals and visitors, as is afternoon tea in Lounge on The 1st. Fine dim sum is served at the hugely popular Yee Tung Heen; advance booking is recommended. The 24-hour room service includes signature dishes from all seven restaurants and bars.

Insider tip: Early risers can join the tai-chi practitioners in Victoria Park around the corner as they go through their graceful exercises.
